About CAOS
The Computer Association of SIUE is a local student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery. Our goal is to promote and increase knowledge in the areas of science, engineering, design development, construction, language, and applications of modern computing machinery. We regularly host a variety of events with including presentations on new technology, programming languages, research, industry internship meet and greets, and the occasional game of laser tag. We also make an effort to be involved in the computing community at a larger lever by inviting in industry experts, local businesses, participating in intercollegiate programming competitions, as well as traveling to conferences of all types.
Though we are located at SIUE’s Computer Science department we welcome anyone and everyone to our forum for friendly informational discussion. If you have any questions or would like more information feel free to contact any of the following CAOS officers:
