Who doesn’t love ROBOTS?
SIG-R, a new branch of CAOS this Fall, will be a Special Interest Group focusing on Robotics. Throughout the semester, you will be able to work with knowledgeable peers in order to learn about various aspects of robotics. Robotics encapsulates a variety of different disciplines of engineering, such as computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering, so there really is room for anyone to learn! As you work your way up through different neat projects involving things such as microcontrollers and the Robot Operating System, you will have hands on experience on several different robotic platforms including an autonomous golf cart!
Who should I contact if I want to learn more?
Curious or interested about SIG-R? Be sure to ask one of the co-chairs: Jared Charter (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Paul Pinneo (email@example.com)!
