Hmm... maybe we should make a new forum just for open source related stuff.  Though I happen to like the title " The Anit-Microsoft Movement Marches On,"  I think that most people would like "Open Source News" or something like that.

Anyhow, Real Networks has decided to release parts of its code as open source.
QuoteRealNetworks on Tuesday publicly disclosed the software blueprint to its streaming media technology in order to take on Microsoft.

I'd rather have an area titled, "Anti-GPL, Pro-BSD" under a large licenses forum area!  :-P

Sorry, I'm just against the GPL and don't think enough people know about it.  I don't really think a whole forum location should be started, except maybe a thread.

Alright, I'll write a thread later.  I need to think about all the good and bad about the GPL first, and I'll make a little argument about it on here.

What is wrong with the GPL? I mean I know what Brett Glass and company over at FreeBSD-chat think about it, but what do you find objectionable?
