You read it right. During this year's SpringFest CAOS will be sponsoring a pie-a-prof booth.
For a mere $3 you can purchase a pie plate full of whipped cream and TOSS it at a professor/teacher/staff member.
Find us on the QUAD April 22nd and 23rd 10am - 2pm.
Professors/Teachers/Staff Members:
We are looking for volunteers! ;D
In exchange for 30-45 minutes of your time we will give you a FREE CAOS Computer Science shirt you've been wanting so badly.
Don't worry, a poncho and goggles will be provided, as well as clean up materials.
We already have Dr. Jack Glassman from Physics, and have been actively soliciting the likes of: Weinberg, Bouvier, Blythe, Fujinoki, Klein, and Socratis.
Don't worry, we are looking toward others as well
Students:
Please encourage teachers to volunteer and don't be shy, come to SpringFest and have some innocent fun. :whistling:
Socratis is in! :D
edit: fixed scott's spelling here toooo :) -delia
Add Dr. Pamela Gay (Physics) to that list as well.
... this is almost worth flying home for...
Weinberg turned me down....Maybe you can change his mind :)

To ALL caos members, if you know of a professor and want to ask them if they would like a pie thrown in your face and they're for it, post on here who they are and we will contact them because we need more volunteers!! Thanks.
hot damn. i think i could still get a plane ticket home.
Not sure if the "Foster" you have listed is Dr. Tom Foster from the physics department, but if it's not, you should ask him. He's a great guy and a fun sport so he'd probably do it. If it is, well, awesome.
I agree, Dr. Foster is a great guy, and so are most of the other volunteers on the list whom I recognize. But that is kind of negative in this case. I would pay money to save them from the pie.
Maybe this is not a bad idea. Throw a pie in them every 10 minutes, unless someone pays not to. I would come to the rescue then.
It is ! He is a friend of mine, and readily volunteered. We need more teachers though! Please give us names, ask yourselves. CAOS needs the help of its members right now!
Ask Cindy Scarsdale. She's not a teacher/prof but she's a good sport and has a lot of very loyal students.
List updated!
Don't forget, it started!
The pie a prof is a huge hit!!! Don't miss this, it's the best booth in the quad located at the corner of the science building and the library. Pics to follow.
Also, shirts are getting picked up this afternoon so stop by tomorrow for your preorders and/or purchase one.
We have the shirts so stop by the booth tomorrow to pick them up! They look freaking sweet!
booth was really fun! hopefully we'll have pictures up soon
scott - any idea when you'll have the pictures put up?
When the new site is released.
Hey everyone. The new site is up and videos as well as photos are online. Its under the Past Events Section. The 3rd video of Klein is great.
