Title: control needed
Post by: hororm on 2005-11-16T06:18:28-06:00 (Wednesday)
I need a control , a component or an active x control for vs2005 beta 2 for editing microsoft word documents.

Beside formating text ( font type , size , colour an so on) , it must allow insertion of bookmarks through drag and drop. Documents must be saved as microsoft word documents.

Yeah, this is lacking detail...

You can just use VBA in MS Office to do all of the text editing, and can't you already drag/drop objects in MS Word?

I'm pretty sure no one will do it for you though.  Unless, of course, you are offering cash.

based on the activex reference I'm guessing he's meaning an ASP.Net implementation, something similar to editing a word document from a web page...  There are already objects out there for this if this is the case, you just have to do a little digging... (and spend some $$$)
