It's the same thing with cars, a/c, etc. People are always ripping off others for repairs that require just a little bit of technical knowledge that the customer lacks. You can make a little bit of side money doing computer repair as an honest local repair tech. The problem is, you'll spend more time fixing problems with spyware, software issues, and their kid deleted all their .dll files. This type of repair is tedious and frustrating, and if you're thinking about charging more than a reasonable amount, why won't your customers just go to Best Buy and get ripped of there instead.
I just couldn't believe that Geek Squad thought the PSU was the problem. :lol:
