Why do i have to take 3 laboratory sciences?? Anyone have any idea why we need 3 instead of maybe 2 or 1? :argue:
it's good for ya. the more well rounded, the better.
i, personally, think every college graduate should be required to take cs140.

The Computer Science BS degree is a CSAB/ABET accreditted program, which means that our program meets specific educational standards.
Three labratory science courses is a requirement by the national organization that accredits CS programs: A two semester sequence and one additional lab science course.
If you're interested in finding out more information visit www.csab.org or www.abet.org

I think he was refering to the Physics/Biology/Chemistry labs that we are required to take, not the CS 140 lab. :newbie:
yeah, i know. i was referring to the physics/chem classes as well but i also wanted to include my opinion that people should also be required to take cs140 like they are sciences or english, etc.
Whatever, old president.
hahaha
I like the idea of every college student taking CS140,
but some of them would have trouble with CS108.
I guess we'd have to start there.
If you don't like the lab science requirements, why not go for the BA in CS? I went this route and really enjoyed the time spent on a minor that wasn't science/math related.
