Title: Fire at the SIUE Engineering Building
Post by: R. Andrew Lamonica on 2006-03-31T17:03:51-06:00 (Friday)
Who cares about firewalls when there is a fire by the EB's wall?

I got to use the new CS Dept. Camera to get some pictures of the small fire at the Engineering Building (http://www.cs.siue.edu/news/story.aspx?StoryID=200603310).

You can read all about it in The Alestle (http://www.thealestle.com/) (eventually) or on the SIUE CS News Page (http://www.cs.siue.edu/news).

I suspect that the fire was probably caused by the combination of a carelessly discarded cigarette and the high winds we had today.  Since I don’t smoke and I am not that big of a blow-hard I am officially clearing myself of suspicion.
