Storytelling with Computer Graphics

Explore the art of storytelling by means of computer graphics technology. Professor Bill White from the Department of Computer Science will examine several   award-winning computer animations from the SIGGRAPH 2003 computer graphics conference that was held in San Diego  in July 2003.

Date:          Wednesday â€ââ,¬Å" September 17, 2003
Time:          2:00 â€ââ,¬Å" 3:30 PM
Place:         Engineering Building 1033 (Auditorium)

Dr. White’s presentation will be preceded by a brief CAOS organizational meeting.  This will be a good opportuntiy to meet fellow CAOS members and find out about upcoming events.  There will be free pizza and soda. :eat:

I have been to several of these SIGGRAPH talks by Dr. White.  They always have some great computer animations in them.  Unfortunately, I will probably have to miss this one because it was scheduled during my robot's hours(http://roboti.cs.siue.edu) but I though I would recommend attendance to anyone still undecided.
