Title: Algorithms for Molecule Discovery Presentation on Thursday

This Thursday the Computer Science Department will have an invited talk by Dr. Abrahamian from Tripos Industries on computer applications for the discovery of new molecules for pharmacological uses.

for some odd reason I had a hard time reading that abstract, I think my brain is finally melting.

on a more serious note, I encourage everyone to go to this presentation.  Dr. Abrahamian is very very cool and incredibly intelligent.

For senior project, our team (http://www.cs.siue.edu/sp/s04g3/) worked with Edmond on a genetic algorithm library for Tripos.  He does know a lot and has a good way of explaining things to newcomers of an idea.  I also encourage everyone to go to this meeting.
