I saw this post on Digg, and it's already WAY to overwhelming to try and get a post in on that one, and I thought it was interesting, so here is the repost.

I want to say I am not taking sides, so no one accuse me of anything for posting this. I know it's not too much to do with computers, but it is of note.
I think the explanation for this is almost as unlikely as having had walked on water.
Some things just can't be explained.
like how either of us two dorks ever manage to get dates?
Why is the sky blue?
Why is grass green?
Hey, how exactly is a rainbow made?
How exactly does the sun set?
How exactly does the posi-trac rear end on a Plymouth work?
It Just Does
I think it sounds like a perfectly reasonable explanation for the absurd notion that somebody could walk on water. After all, people weren't all that bright back then and would likely believe any illusion put before them.
This is true.
Everything in history does have a logical explanation. It is absurd to think that something may not have a logical explanation. It is perfectly reasonable to think that throughout history animals have sprouted more and more chromosomes and even though they were in a miniscule minority of the population of their particular species their mutation managed to overtake the whole species and then the sect of their species with the fewer chromosomes died and their fossils dissappeared.
