Information Technology Services (ITS) plans to upgrade the SIUE email hardware and software in the coming months. However, in recent weeks, we have faced ongoing hardware issues with the current email system. We have worked with our hardware vendor to diagnose and solve these problems with no success. As a result of the problems with the current system, we plan to move this system to the new hardware now, with an upgrade in the software and storage space later in the semester. To achieve this hardware migration, email will be unavailable from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2009 until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2009.
