Bowling does seem like it would be one of the easiest sports for a robot to compete well in. It has so few variables in comparison to others. You don't directly face other players like in tennis, football, baseball, hockey, etc, which are very big variables. Even with golf, where you don't directly encounter other players, you still have to factor in the wind and the layout of the each hole. In bowling, everything is almost exactly the same each time, so it seems resonable to me that if a robot could get one strike, it could very easily get a perfect game. (Provided it has enough power to repeat the same action with the same force for ten frames.)

I imagine robots are outlawed from human bowling tournaments, or they will be when someone puts together a real robot bowler. :lol:
