Title: Web site stats module?
Post by: Jerry on 2003-06-26T10:24:01-05:00 (Thursday)

Is there a module to show web hits stats?

Every once in a while I check to see who is browsing what, and there appear to be some interesting IP addresses.

There used to be a modual like that in the old version of XOOPS, but they ran into many security holes and flaws, so the discontinued it. I'll look into a new version.

Sorry for the delay, but I've been playing with Sun Solaris 9 for the x86. I know Grim's been wanting to play with for a while. I got to it first, hehe. I put it on my dual pII 266 machine.

Well, I couldn't give you the x86 version, beacause that would not be legal.  :-P hehe

I must say, it is exactly like the SPARC counterpart, but I didn't need to buy an expensive SPARC machine to get it. Honestly, I do not know which I like better - GNU/Linux or Solaris. They both have strengths, and they both have weaknesses. Oh, well.

Still no progress on the stats mod.

I would be happy if we could add a Polls Module that worked.
