The BBC reports (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/4165880.stm) of a Chinese student arrested in Japan for stealing items in the MMORPG (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MMORPG) Lineage 2 (http://www.lineage2.com/) and selling them on e-bay (http://search.ebay.com/Lineage-2). Allegedly, the student used bots to unfairly defeat his victims and take their stuff. This is one of the more unusual online legal cases I have seen. You could argue that if he had cheated in a game that did not allow its pieces to be sold (Checkers (http://games.yahoo.com/games/login2?page=ck), Halo (http://www.bungie.net/Games/Halo2/), etc.) then he would be a jerk but not guilty of anything.

I can't wait to see how this pans out
