Title: a question about math in CS

I had a question about Engineering Mathematics. Under the course description it says Discrete Mathematics and Linear algebra. What I was wondering is if I take that, will it work as a prerequisite to CS 340 Algorithms & Data Structures, instead of MATH 224 Discrete Mathematics. It'd be nice if it did...

For anyone who might have had this same question, which I doubt haha, Engineering Math does not fulfill the discrete math requirement.
