So, I am trying to set up Mac Mail such that I can send email through it rather than having to go to webmail.siue.edu. I have already set it up for my Gmail accounts and so that it will pull down my email from Webmail, but, due to Charter blocking port 25, I can't use SIUE's SMTP server.
I know I need to go through mail.charter.net, but do I turn on SSL, authenticate and if so with which method, etc. If anyone has set this up and could let me know, I would be very appriciative.
