Post by: Jerry on 2007-11-05T15:39:07-06:00 (Monday)
World Usability Day (WUD)
http://www.worldusabilityday.org/

WUD is a day organized by the Usability Professional Association to make the general public aware of the importance of professionals working in the field of Human-Computer Interaction to improve the usability of technology.

The local ACM HCI chapter, GatewayCHI, is organzing displays for WUD at the St. Louis Science Center this Saturday from 9am to 4pm.

They are looking for volunteers to help with the exhibits that are doing usability tests with websites. If you are interested AND have taken CS 321, send me an email with your name and I will pass it along.

I need to know by tomorrow so I can get you on the list for t-shirts and name badges.

This is a good oppotunity to meet and interact with some working professinals in HCI.
