Is there a reason that the #caos channel is locked?

lets start hangin out in #siue on Efnet. I have been away from IRC for a while... you can blame me for letting the channel get hijacked :(
Sounds good to me. I believe I know who is 0wning that channel. It's a guy who went by the name of ^Caos or something like that before. I know, because at one point I was nice to him and let him have that name my bot was using while I renamed the bot to ^CAOS^. Then, he started hanging out in there every so often without contributing to the conversation. He would hang out there with his friend or whatever.
Now he's not being nice to us. People like that drive me crazy.
Anyway, #siue doesn't bother me.
Why not #siue on undernet? I have problems connecting to efnet for some reason..
I haven't ever liked undernet. The people there aren't as knowledgable.
That's kind of an odd thing to say about undernet. How did you draw this conclusion?
I have frequently asked for help in #c, #php, #solaris, etc and haven't found the people to be lacking in anything. Just don't hang out in #teen =)
is there an efnet server preferred by caos? how do you guys pick one? and what's changed in six years? (it's been about that long for me)
irc.flamed.net and irc.prison.net always work well for me. They're always the first I try.
ahhhh I hate IRC. I used to go on dal.net ... I didn't even bother reinstalling it after I got my new hard drive in...
