Edward Jones is planning to recruit for internships at the upcoming career fair. They'd like to have an meeting with just the CS and CMIS students to discuss these internships in detail prior to the career fair. AITP and CAOS plan to hold a joint meeting on Tuesday, Feb 9th, starting at about 5PM or 6PM for this purpose.
All CS and CMIS majors are welcome. If you are interested, it would be a good idea to start preparing your resume and jotting down some questions. Use this forum to find out what EJ wants. It will likely help you flesh out a more general resume that will distinguish you as a potential hire come the actual career fair. Already have the resume finished? It's a good opportunity to give it visibility before everyone at the career fair just starts dumping theirs on the recruiters.
Location is TBD. Please let me know if ASAP you are interested so that we can arrange to accomodate everyone.

I'm Mike Ealy, President of the Association of Information Technology Professionals in the CMIS department at the School of Business.
We will be holding this meeting at Monday February 22 at 6pm in Founders Hall Room 0207. Josh Hand of Edward Jones along with others will be in attendance to discuss 7 possible information systems internship positions with their company this summer.

Relevant experience and leadership or participation in student organizations is a plus.

hey Mike can you make this clear?
Usually it boils down to where you're at in your college career. As long as you're not graduating this spring or summer, they'll take a look at you. It's a good idea to be considered at least a Junior. It's their way of ensuring you're familiar with the base concepts and applications of your major.
As for graduates, I really can't say one way or the other. With most companies I've talked to, it is the same as above though.
All majors are invited because it's a great chance to learn more about what big companies like Edward Jones look for in candidates for a job such as this.
