Title: Crunching Large Data Sets: An Introduction to Hadoop with Python
Post by: Mark Sands on 2010-03-30T04:31:54-05:00 (Tuesday)
Hi everyone, sorry this is last minute. (reason: Ryan was initially going to give this talk, but then had to back out due to his job. Now he has an unexpected free week before he moves to California)

This presentation is a good introduction to Hadoop, the python knowledge isn't necessary. The talk might be a little over your head, but it's very interesting to see how MapReduce works and why people use it, so come check it out!

Any any rate, see HERE (http://caos.cs.siue.edu/?p=233) for details.

recursive post is recursive.

For some reason this song plays in my head whenever I hear the word "Hadoop".
