Title: Custom Linux image for Linksys WRT54G
Post by: Peter Motyka on 2004-09-11T01:32:07-05:00 (Saturday)
I have the above router and have been happy with it so far.  However, I have started hosting from home with my 1Mb up/down DSL line and desire more functionality from my little firewall.  I see there are a few custom Linux images for this router...  Has anyone tried using any of these packages on their WRT54G or other similar routers?  Any advice before I give it a try?

Thanks,
Peter

I have this router as well, with some form of a custom linux on it.  Very nice router.

I'll try to find out what I'm using and let you know about it; however, I'd also like to learn how to build my own linux images for it instead...

*Begins to ponder if NetBSD might run on it.*
