to the nearest IMAX showing Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones. :-)

Perhaps the St. Louis science center will show it!! I would really like to go see it :) I am not a huge fan of Star Wars, but seeing it on the Imax setup would be so neat.

Sadly, all early reports point to no ... but I'm not sure if that's the final word.

What I want to know is if the IMAX copy is just a stretched out version of the original or if they somehow work out a way to re-cut the film so that it is more suited to IMAX. :-?

I can envision seeing the clone war scenes in IMAX, but some of the dialog scenes would look funny just blown up to 9 times regular size. It would be a strain on the neck to look from Yoda to Obi-wan if they were each projected at opposite sides of you peripheral vision.
