Graduate Research Assistantship Position

Hiring Unit:  MMR Program, School of Business

Category:   General Graduate Assistant

Job Description:  Duties involve designing and updating of website with Luminis and FrontPage.  Applicant must be creative in designing and assisting with the production of multimedia projects, such as brochure designing and graphics.  Good communication skills, quick learning ability and prompt completion of assignments are critical.  Will work closely with the MMR program director and other research assistant(s).


Qualifications Required:  Assistantship is awarded on a competitive basis and the applicant should have been admitted into a graduate program of study at SIUE.  Graduate students majoring in Computer Science Engineering/MIS majors are especially encouraged to apply.  Applicants must be in first year of study.  Be familiar with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Picasa or Photoshop, Publisher, and web design software.  International applicants must possess a good command of English.  Required excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

Term of Contract:  25% appointment (10hrs/wk), 1 year contract.
