I have two coupons I can give out that will give you a 50% discount on glasses at Lenscrafters, where I work. I have tried everyone I know who might want them and they don't need them.
The only requirements that comes with the coupon is you must get our new scothguard lenses. Which depending on your needs run from more than $200 to about $300 dollars. So it would actually cost you anywhere from $120- $160 dollars for the lenses only. I know that is alot, but they are really good lenses. Below is a link to an info site about the lens. If anyone is interested in getting one of the coupons let me know, I just want to get rid of them so they don't go to waste.

Just to add to that, there is a place in Fairview Heights that is $30 for glasses (that is for the frames, lenses, labor, all of it).  All you have to do is bring in your prescription and pick out the frames.  I forget the name, but it is close to the intersection of Old Collinsville Road and Highway 50 (actually on highway 50 towards the mall).

I would feel bad using this reply but I really don't think Lenscrafters needs my business.

As much as I dislike my job the one thing I can say about it is the level of quality we make. Yeah you can get a pair of glasses for 30 bucks, but I can almost guarantee you the pair I make will be 10 times better. Normally I would tell people to go somewhere cheaper, but I have the coupons and no one to give them too. But, I do agree with you Tyler, our prices are waaayyy high. Nothing I can do about it though, as much as I would like to.
