Ok, so the officers (along with NSBE) have been kicking around the idea of holding a Halo 2 Tourney on the 16th of April from 6:00pm to 12:00am. CAOS is in mad need of some cash so we were thinking of charging a dollar to play for the whole night.  The winner of the tourney would get half the pot.  The rest of the cash would be split between CAOS and NSBE.  I still have to check in with Kimmel to see if we can use the Goshen Lounge and if they will allow us to charge money and give away a cash prize.  What I need to know from all of you is, would any of you be willing to loan CAOS your XBoxs, XBox controllers, and Halo 2 disks?  We would like to set up 4 or more stations to play at during the competition.  Obviously we can't play without the equipment.  Of course you would get a nice big, public thank you at the tourney and here on the forums. ;-)

So let me know what you guys think.  If we don't have enough interest or resources we can't pull the event off, so whether this happens or not is up to you!  :-D

If you're in great need and nearing deadline, I will donate mine for the night.  The only reason I'm reluctant is I would have to retrieve it from someone I just loaned it out to (spreadin' the love).

I'd definitely be interested in this! I would be willing to even pay the entry fee, and maybe even pay more ($5?) if I knew there were going to be a lot of people and I would be getting a lot of play time in.

I think it would be nice if we could also get people to bring extra boxes so that people could play for fun while the tourney is going on (because getting eliminated first sucks).

The only problem I forsee, is the date. I have class til 7:15 and then I have to get up to work at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesdays so Mondays are really bad for me. What about Friday 6-12? (I know Wedge has work til 6:00 so he'll still probably be able to make it?)  :-D
