The National ACM Conference is coming up soon.
I for one am going :-).

I would like to know who would like to join me.
If we get enough interest, we can organize car pools and get a group discount on hotel costs.

The conference is in Champaign, IL at the University of Illinois
October 18 - 20

I've estimated the cost of the trip to be about
$75/person
including gas, hotel and registration, but that varies GREATLY depending on whether or not we get shared rooms and a group discount, expect to spend more if you want your own room or if we don't get enough people for a discount.

Let me know before
OCTOBER 10th
if you would like to go.

Make sure to tell me if you want a single/double/triple room and if you would be willing to drive.

I'm SOO excited, hope some of you can join me.

I would really like to go, but I have to evaluate where my school work is at before I make a commitment.  I looked at the website for the event and there are going to be some really neat speakers there.  If I cant make it, I am going to have to have someome take a tape recordering with them :P

I plan on going as well.  I wouldn't have any problem giving 1-2 others a ride.

When does everyone plan on leaving?  My main motivation is the job fair, the speakers are just a nice extra bonus.  ;-)

William Grim

Hehe, yeah, the job fair will be nice, eh?  I'm hoping for internship opportunities from that.

Hardcore development in a Unix environment, mmmmmmm.

And I'm spent.

The departure time would depened on those attending.  We will have a meeting beforehand to make that decision.
Jim, I'll put you down as a vehicle (+1-2) thanks  :-) .
