The SIUE Office of Information Technology (OIT) is mandating that all SIUE authentication systems be configured to use their universal e-ID accounts.  This means that all Academic Computing (AC) accounts must be disabled.  The AC accounts have already been disabled.  To use any of the secured SIUE resources (workstations, printers, etc.), you must activate your e-ID by successfully resetting your e-ID password.

For those students who had information associated with their AC account that they would like migrated to their OIT account (home folder files and extra access privileges), we are requesting that you visit https://ebserver-03.soe.siue.edu/validate and supply first your AC account name and password and then your e-ID account name and password to prove that you own the two accounts.  After successful authentication of the two accounts, the account pairing will be sent to Phillip Busey who will manually transfer the files and settings from the AC account to the e-ID and send verification to your SIUE email account within 1 working day.

If you cannot complete the online authentication system (forgotten password, technical difficulties, etc), you will have to personally visit Phillip Busey in room EB2027 to have your information migrated.  Personally visiting Phillip Busey at the beginning of the Fall semester may take time as he will likely have many students lined up at his door with similar difficulties.
