Staffing Report: Part-Time Position

POSITION: INFORMATION  TECHNOLOGY INTERN

Responsibilities:
ïÆ'Ëœ   Position reports to the Information Technology Manager and/or Director of Operations
ïÆ'Ëœ   Excellent communication skills and customer oriented
ïÆ'Ëœ   Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware, hand-helds and computer peripherals.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Installs, configures and maintains organization's network.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Maintains internal web presence, administers the networks.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Supports server system(s) and supporting software.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Performs system backups and recovery.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Develops and maintains the company's Intranet.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Improves the company's efficiency and designs the look and feel for the site.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Designs, develops, and implements software packages for company intranet.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Troubleshoots, debugs and implements software code.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., SQL, PHP, HTML, etcâ€Ã,¦)
ïÆ'Ëœ   Responsible for operation of mainframe and peripheral information system, knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows 2000 networking environment is a necessity.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Knowledge and experience with Netwinder, Linux (Red Hat 7.0), Webmin, etcâ€Ã,¦
ïÆ'Ëœ   Knowledge and experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint, Outlook, etcâ€Ã,¦), MS Windows Operating Systems (98, 2000, ME, XP, NT Etcâ€Ã,¦)
ïÆ'Ëœ   Plans, directs, and manages the daily operations of a computer operations department.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Establishes and document department policies and procedures.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Provide technical training to users as needed.
ïÆ'Ëœ   Develop & provide reports to Sales, Ops, Admin depts. as requested by departments

Qualifications:
o   Candidate must be attending college for a Management Information System or related degree
o   Sales and/or Operation experience in the beverage industry preferred
o   Broad knowledge of hardware, software, networks, programming, operation systems, etcâ€Ã,¦
o   Efficient computer skills
o   Customer oriented w/ excellent communication skills

Position is Part-Time
