Are there any songs out there that remind us of professors?

The reason I ask, is because every single time I hear Dr. Dooly's name mentioned, I get this old timey bluegrass number stuck in my head for hours.

Well, let me know... and I hope the rest of you all get this song stuck in your noggin' next time Ole' Dooly comes 'round.

QuoteNow Dooley was a good old man, he lived below the mill,
Dooley had two daughters and a forty gallon still.
One gal watched the boiler, the other watched the spout,
And mama corked the bottles when old Dooley fetched em' out.

Dooley, slippin' up the holler,
Dooley, trying to make a dollar,
Dooley, give me a swaller
and I'll pay you back someday.

The revenuers came for him, slippin' through the woods,
Dooley kept behind them, though and never lost his goods.
Dooley was a trader, when into town he'd come,
Sugar by the bushel and mollases by the drum.

Chorus

Now I remember very well, the day old Dooley died,
The women folk looked sorry and the men stood around and cried.
Now Dooley's on the mountain, he lies there all alone,
They put a jug beside him and a barrel for a stone.

Chorus

Do yo' chain hang low?

ROFLMAO!!!

If only that song could play each time he entered the room...

... I mean seriously,... who wouldn't want their own theme song... ?

[insert Emperor's New Groove reference] :-D

I think Dr. Dooly will like this, he has a great sense of humor.

This is who, I'm affraid, people are reminded of when they see me: Borat . No? Yes? Verry much? Tell me the truth, I can take it.
