Setup Configuration Analyst

Responsibilities:
The Setup Configuration Analyst is responsible for configuring and testing Hewittââ,¬â,,¢s proprietary system to meet the needs of our clientââ,¬â,,¢s testing requirements.
This role:

Uses proprietary systems and tools to set up and configure tables/parameters in the Hewitt system as defined by the analysis of the Systems Analyst;
Prepares and execute all testing (unit, integration, acceptance and regression);
Utilizes relevant problem-solving resources as needed when unexpected results occur;
May work on a global/virtual team;
Handles issue resolution and debugging. 
Having an understanding of database programming languages:  C++, SAS, SQL is preferred

Required Qualifications:
We are seeking applicants with a background in programming logic, and systems configuration and testing, who also possess the following required skills/experience:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in related field such as MIS, Computer Science, or Mathematics;
Ability to break down a complex problem into smaller and more manageable pieces and be able to understand and describe the relationship between those tasks;
Understand and interpret conditional statements (e.g., If/Then/Else);
Strong knowledge of relational databases (and data models) such as DB2, Access, Oracle, etc.
This role will have an annual compensation range of $41,000 to $58,000 depending on academic and professional experience.
All full time benefits begin on the first day of employment.
