Green Permits

Good afternoon!

Here is some quick info regarding the ever-popular green parking permit lottery for engineering students.  More details and instructions for students are available online at the School of Engineering main page (http://www.siue.edu/engineering/).

The engineering lottery for green permits will open tomorrow, May 2nd and close May 9th.

All interested students will need to sign up via email to be eligible for the green parking permits.  Parking services needs these names as soon as possible, so if a student doesnââ,¬â,,¢t submit his name before the deadline of May 9th, we must assume that he doesnââ,¬â,,¢t want/need one, even if he would otherwise be eligible for a reserved pass.

Student Organizations

All student organizations recognized by Kimmel Leadership Center have four passes reserved for the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

There are also four reserved passes for each competing student group, even if they arenââ,¬â,,¢t registered with Kimmel.  (The concrete canoe team is an example.)

Faculty advisors should email the complete officer listing to me to make those students eligible for their reserved passes.

Student Workers

Departments have three reserved passes each for student workers.  If your department does not have that many student workers, those extra passes will be distributed to first-come-first-serve students on the list.

SIAM is now eligible for three reserved permits as well.
