RIAA targets SIUE

Just found out FIRST HAND that a student downloading music ON CAMPUS (via LimeWire) was targeted by the RIAA and received a letter from the Chancellor for Student Affairs.

Why was he using limewire?  That's about the easiest way to get caught (seriously).

Firstly I didn't necessarily say "HE". Secondly I have now heard of two individuals recieving notifications from the Chancellor of Student Affairs.  It seems as though charges haven't been pressed, but they've had their internet turned off temporarily.

hmmm, I was wondering how long it would be till that started happening... Hopefully with people off limewire I'll get a better ping???

Don't do that, I have no problem with the Limewire software...In fact I downloaded Limewire Pro off of Limewire
