Practical Programming: An Introduction To Computer Science Using Python

I got an email today from the www.PragmaticProgrammers.com, and within this email was news of a new book that has just been released in beta mode. I cannot speak for this book, but I own about 10 or 15 books from the Pragmatic Programmers, and they are all phenomenal. I would recommend that any new programmer/cs student check this book out. It is currently only available in pdf form, but if you buy the paper version too, it will ship when it is published.

That looks like a cool book, too, but the purpose of the book that I linked was to teach some basics of computer science. It just happens to teach it in Python.
