Attention New Members / Spam Handling

New Members,

I am glad to see you recently joining our forum.  Our group is a local ACM Chapter out of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, but you need not have affiliation with the University to be a member.  I would like to ask though, that you do not simply add replies to multiple OLD posts as soon as you join .  We would like to keep new and relevant stories towards the top of our board.  Secondly, this is often a method used my spam bots and we would not want you to me marked as a spammer.
