– IT Technical Associate

We are seeking someone to work full-time in the Department of Information Resources. Main
responsibilities include: performing system analysis, design, programming, testing, and
documentation activities within a team environment for high-level enterprise.

The person in this position must have a logical orientation to problem solving, in addition
to the following specific knowledge:
• Bachelor of Science degree from a recognized institution of higher education in computer
sciences, or other related field
• Two years work experience in relational database design and development, web
application integration, SQL and one of the following: Java, Perl, PHP, or Python
• Familiarity with application development methods, principles, and techniques relative to
the application and complex computer operation in a networked multi-user
• Proficiency in HTML, DHTML, SHTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML
• Experience with Oracle PLSQL and current Oracle developer tools (Oracle Forms and
Oracle Reports) or other relational database
• Experience with source control applications (revision control)
• Proficiency with microcomputer systems and programs including personal computers,
networks, spreadsheets, database management systems, web-based applications, and
word processors
