58,494 years, eh? :-o

I hate to ruin _that_ nice uptime... but I'm gonna reboot into FreeBSD now.

My uptime is the least. I know my machine is on, because I'm typing this message.

Since uptime seems to be a popular topic with everyone, I went ahead and modifyed the page footer of the CAOS site to include the system uptime.  Do let me know if this is a welcome change, perhaps I  should have asked first.  Acutally, I am wondering if this might cause excess system load since I used the exec command which spawns a shell to capture the output of the "uptime" command.  Anyway, I thought it was neat...

Gish... What type of system is that you are running with almost 2 years of uptime?

The uptime thing at the bottom of the page is kewl. If you find a better way of doing that, I could add it to the footter box in the preferences instead of modifing the php script. That way it would stay there when I update the page. XOOPS 2 is almost done, so be prepared for some mjor changes around here. Errr...hopefully for the better.

Does the admin tool for the footer allow you to embed php code?  I would check myself, but I am no longer an admin on the site

I know you can embed html in it, so all one needs to do is add the php indicator to it. Send me the php code and I'll see if it works.

Give it a try :)  I bet they dont since bad code in the footer could render the site useless...

Doesn't look like I can put php in the footer or a block. I'll figure something out.
