I don't know how many of you have seen this clip, but if you haven't, it's hilarious and definitely worth checking out:

That is awesome.  :)  Thanks for posting that link.

My favorite part is when the camera "moves" to the overhead shot. :shocking:

I know this is really off topic, but here's another hilarious link (from The Onion) that I just had to share with all of you:

Here's a good scene from the first Matrix movie created entirely in ASCII.

A neat car commercial.  No computer animation or digital effects.  All parts except ramp from a disassembled Honda Accord.

The ASCII Matrix link above stopped working (for me at least), but this slightly different link got me there: http://www.romanm.ch/ascii-movies/ascii-matrix1.htm

That is awesome, btw.  :)  I saw some TV software for Linux that had the goal of playing TV shows from a TV-in card in ASCII, so I wonder if that was simply captured from that app or one like it.  Either way it's a fantastic piece of work.

I was able to play a movie in ascii before. It was some combination of using mplayer and screen. I might have tried playing through an ssh connection. I dont' remember the exact details.
