Welcome to the robotics forum.

I figured since there are various
robot projects going on at SIUE
we could have enough traffic
for a forum. Some of the things
going on:

1. Robot Tour Guide for SOE
2. Robot Aided Feng Shui
3. IEEE Maze Competition
4. Intelligent Mobile Robot Course
5. Sumo Wrestling Competition
6. ECE Highschool Competition
7. Hybrid Robot Control for RCX
8. Robots for Space Solar Power

Anyway feel free to discuss/post
anything robotics here.

Are those Senior Projects or CS 490 Projects (whatever the number is)?

The Tour Guide and the Feng Shui are senior projects in CS

The IEEE Robot Maze Competition is a CS/ECE joint project

The Hybrid Robot Control is a Master's
project being done by Gary Mayer.

The Intelligent Mobile Robot course
is the CS 490

The Sumo Wrestling is an IME project.

The Solar Space Panels is an NSF grant
I have under review. It's work being
done with Dr. Hu in Me and Dr. Smart
at Wash U.

There are a couple of other projects
going on that I don't have names for.

Thanks for the information. Those projects sound really exciting. I'm _not_ being sarcastic.

Is this forum going to be a place for the CS490 course to post questions and such?  If so, I look forward to having another resource for posting Saphira and Aria related questions.

Yes, anything robotics is acceptable including questions on projects and assignments. So feel free to discuss Aria/Saphira, Eyebot, RXC, and
Handyboard questions.

How difficult would it be to set up teams to create a robo war for the end of spring semester.... just a thought... nothing official or anything just SIUE stuff..
THX :)

No one is playing RoboWar with any of the robots in my care. ;-)
