Favorite Quake III Arena mods

As many of you know, CAOS recently made a purchase of 20 copies of Quake III Arena.  I have been working on creating an image for the computers in 1036 to make LAN parties easy to host and clean up afterwards.  While I have taken up this responsibility, I know next to nothing about the game itself or its mods.  If there are any extras that I should include in this image, such as player skins, maps, mods, etc. please post and let me know.  I would only have to install everything once to make a good image which saves a whole lot of time on 20 computers.  The most popular responses will definately deserve a spot on the image.

Does anybody want to play Quake at all?

What would it take to get people to come to a FREE Quake Lan party?

Do we need Fabulous prizes, free food, good mods, better games, sorority girls....?
