JohnPaul: Fascinating!! :punk: It's great to gain a little insight from the inside. Thanks!

Its my pleasure!!

I cant decide if offshoring is good or bad for this country. But the debate always brings focus on India. One of the positive effects of these debates is that India now getting the attention it deserves in the western media. Until a few years ago very few in this part of the world even knew the existence of this "ancient country". After coming across so many people who cannot even locate India in their world map, I am extremely thrilled when someone took the name of Hyderabad.

While Bangalore prides itself as Silicon Valley of India, Hyderabad(aka Cyberabad) has a vision of becoming "Cyber Capital of the World". That future might be very near as almost all the world's big tech companies have booked their space in Cyberabad.

Should be getting anywhere between $700-$1500 a month, depending on the school you teach in and the work load. And there is a great demand for professors in CS. I would recommend International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad http://www.iiit.net/. It was started off by a bunch of professors who returned from US and functions like any other US university. In many other universities you should have atleast 10 years(5 years Lecturer + 5 years Reader) of teaching experience before you can be a Professor.

I just watched some great fireworks. Wish you all a happy Independence Day:usflag:
