Currently five intern requisitions, one per engineering division, are posted on the Boeing jobs Web site announcing 50 St. Louis Engineering intern positions for summer 2005.

Engineering intern positions are highly sought after, with hundreds of top-notch college engineering students applying.

Candidate requirements include the following:
â€Ã,¢   Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
â€Ã,¢   Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better.
â€Ã,¢   Major in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace, Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
â€Ã,¢   Please note: Most summer 2005 engineering interns will be students who are just completing their junior year in a four-year Bachelor of Science program. However, there will likely be several intern slots appropriate for engineering students entering a graduate engineering program, and high-performing engineering students entering their junior year during the fall 2005 school year.

Intern requisitions are scheduled to close Wednesday, Dec. 1; Engineering and Human Resources managers will begin selection shortly thereafter. If employees know of interested candidates who meet the above criteria, direct them to apply online to one of the following requisitions:
â€Ã,¢   Systems & Flight Engineering â€ââ,¬Å" 04-1025398
â€Ã,¢   Electronic Systems Engineering â€ââ,¬Å" 04-1025304
â€Ã,¢   Software Engineering â€ââ,¬Å" 04-1025828
â€Ã,¢   Flight Lab Operations â€ââ,¬Å" 04-1026088
â€Ã,¢   Design & Manufacturing Engineering â€ââ,¬Å" 04-1026030
Intern candidates may be asked for college transcripts. Intern offers will be sent to selected candidates between November and March and the assignments will begin in May 2005 and end in August 2005.
